Extrusion features Taking too long to execute

Hello All.

I am using a cloud based version of Fusion 360. Features such as extrusion etc takes too long to execute (over 5 minuets). I am extruding through multiple (over 150) bodies of small bodies. The bodies make up what is called wedge wire screen (In case any one is familiar with the technology)

1. show your process in a screencast

2. Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach it to the next post

So perhaps an alternative can be proposed.

I suspect you are not using the most computationally efficient technique to create this wire screen.

As suggested by @g-andresen - Attach your *.f3d file here and end all doubt.

Yes, that is going to take a long time. You are asking Fusion to process an awful lot of geometry here, and this takes time. While Fusion is awesome, it is not magic. You should be aware of what operations you are trying to do, and understand that there are costs involved. As @TheCADWhisperer says, there may be better ways to do this. If you can share more about your desired result, there are lots of folks here that can help.

Thank you, I have tried to dimmension up the components and reduce the number of components.

Thank you, I have since played with the dimensions and reduced the number of components. However next time I need to do something similar (which is nearly all the time), I will attach the files here and see if i can create the drawings with the original dimensions and number of components.
