That looks like a surface/vertex normal problem to me!

Can you share the model ?

I'm struggling to figure out how to get this coin that I made in Fusion 360 and over to Daz 3D. The one on the right is exported from Fusion 360 (tried OBJ and FBX). It looks great except for the flat surface of the coin has strange geometry that isn't supposed to be there. It should be totally flat.

It was recommended that I remesh it in Blender, which I did and got the result on the left. The flat surface looks awesome, but the quality everywhere else diminished. Also shaders don't work properly with it. The surface should have a bump map with corrosion pits and green tarnish instead of being mirror like and all gold.

Any suggestions on how to get the a flat surface without geometry that casts shadows and highlights that aren't actually there?

Here's what the model looks like in Fusion 360.

Thanks is advance for any tips and suggestions!
