Hi,

You must extrude adjacent profiles separately.

I would like to make a wall framing plan on Fusion 360 (similar to the one shown in the first screenshot). I've drawn a 2D plan view of the house, but I'd like to extrude my sketches into 35mm thickness so they look like the timber base of my wall frame. So, I used lines to separate the walls. Now the question is, how do I extrude it so it's separated instead of one whole piece?

I'm sorry if my question is a bit silly or unsophisticated but I've tried to search on Google, youtube or Ask the AI but none of them seem to be able to tell me how to do it.

this is the kind of effect i'd like to achieve, each section of the wall should have a separate base plate.

this is the kind of effect i'd like to achieve, each section of the wall should have a separate base plate

###########################

this is the 2D plan view I did

this is the 2D plan view I did

############################

and this is how it looks like when I try to extrude it directly (all connected objects appear to be one)

and this is how it looks like when I try to extrude it directly (all connected objects appear to be one)
