I have a wedge shaped body which needs an extrusion along 2 different faces which ultimately gives the hole a bit of an angle. I created a plane along a path between two points and was able to extrude the initial hole just fine.

Where I am running into a bit of a problem is I need an extrusion along the same exact path, with a slightly bigger slot, however I need one side of the extrusion to not go to the end of only one of the faces. This will allow me to screw it onto a wall and have a flat surface from the larger slot.

I'm sure that was about as clear as mud, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. In the picture you'll see the highlighted oval. I'm trying to create a slot slightly bigger than the one in the design, where the highlight is, and I want it to follow the same path the smaller one is using, however I don't want it to go all of the way through. I want to stop it shy about 1-2mm. I tried an offset plane, but I can't follow the same path that way, and I can't figure out how to extrude along the path but stop shy the 1-2mm distance.

<STRIKE>Is this what you mean?</STRIKE>

<STRIKE>Still not sure I understood correctly, I might be wrong. But if it is correct note that I did not cut a bigger slot but added a lip to the end. You need to edit dimensions in Sketch11 to that of your "slightly bigger" slot.</STRIKE>

<STRIKE>By the way, Fusion does not have extrusion along a path, extrusion is normal to profile. Another way might be Sweep which has path.</STRIKE>

Forget it, @davebYYPCU 's Thin Extrude is way easier.

I couldn't agree more. This is my first relatively complex model and I admittedly had some fits along the way. I tried to use vertical and horizontal constraints and almost every time I would apply them I would get the over-constrained error. I the would remove the existing constraints and try again, only to get the same exact error. I need to watch some videos to fully understand why i was getting the error, that way my next model I can start using it correctly.

Thanks for the feedback

Thin Extrude just didn't came to my mind and I did a needlessly long workflow. That's why you can't (and you don't need to) follow what I did, and that's why I edited my reply right after posting and seeing his reply. Just take what he suggested, i.e. Thin Extrude, as your solution. You only need to set Offset from left side to 0 mm (instead of -1 mm) since you don't want the lip there.
