    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm running a static stress model...&amp;nbsp; What should the pin constraint in the following image do?&amp;nbsp; It's applied to the cylindrical surface shown in the image.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="tfjield_0-1657833480946.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1091904iF348FACFAF02A6B2/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="tfjield_0-1657833480946.png" alt="tfjield_0-1657833480946.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Should it allow the model to rotate about that cylindrical surface (the z-axis), only, but not translate along z?&amp;nbsp; That's what I thought it would do, anyway...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've applied a force (-0.1 lbf) to the part in the y-axis direction just below the hole.&amp;nbsp; Here is the displacement in the&amp;nbsp;y-axis direction.&amp;nbsp; It's a 2 mm diameter hole.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="tfjield_1-1657833794872.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1091907iE079CB408731FD59/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="tfjield_1-1657833794872.png" alt="tfjield_1-1657833794872.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any idea what's going on?&amp;nbsp; Sorry, I'm not able to share the model.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
