Cannot Shell Part

Hello,

The back of our Roku remote no longer stays on so I wanted to print a new one. I've found stl files of parts people have already made, but they don't fit quite right. I have a strong urge to make my own so I gave it a try. I'm getting quite frustrated because every time I try to shell the part I get an error message! Here is a video of what I'm trying to explain. The bottom, the curved end, is a loft and that seems to be where the problem exists, but I don't know what to do next. Can anybody help?

You need to attach your model. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

The problem with almost any shell that fails is areas of high curvature. Yours has a couple (the angry purple areas on the sides):

as kind of a quick and dirty approach here, I reversed your extrude and loft (extrude first, then loft), and lofted from the face of the extrude, specifying a tangent constraint to the adjacent faces. Then I could shell it OK:
