topic Possible Bug - Export as DXF acting oddly... in Fusion Support Forum

Okay so I'm not sure what is going on here.

Issue 1: I have 2 completely different drawings (generated from different models) open and export the first one as DXF. When I try to export the 2nd one as DXF it will export the 1st one but with the 2nd file name. If I shut the 1st drawing and repeat the export of the 2nd it does the same thing, exports the 1st but with the 2nd's file name. Doesn't matter what drawings they are and is not limited to just 2. It always exports the 1st but with the file name of the whatever is current.

Issue 2: If I have a drawing open and export to DXF and then modify the model, update the drawing and export DXF again, the new DXF doesn't have the updates.

The workaround for this is to shut all drawings and models and then open drawings one at a time and do the export. This is annoying as it interrupts workflow, but more worryingly it means small revisions to drawings could be missed which is a bad thing when they have been sent out for production.

This issue has started recently and has made the already poor Fusion drawing experience even worse... Has anyone else had the same thing?

Help appreciated!

Thanks so much for sharing the problems in here! I just confirmed these issues and I will log them as internal defects(FDWG-15544 and FDWG-15545) to ask development team to take a look.

Thanks again!
