Linear Pattern only creates pattern of part of components?

All,

Why is it that more often than not, when creating a linear pattern of components, that only a couple of the components actually patterns instead of all the selected components?

For example, here is a linear pattern of 8 objects. Only 2 pattern.

You need to attach your model and specify what you are patterning. It is hard to tell for the picture. To attach your model open it up, select the File menu, then Export and save the F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Attach it to your next post using the attachment section.

Unfortunately, it is a VERY large model and not able to attach it due to it exceeding the max file size. (The entire lower instrument panel of a replica 1:1 F/A-18C hornet flight sim.)

I am patterning the indicated 4X/ea of the #8 PHS and nut fastening the bulkhead interconnect panel for the left console over to the bulkhead interconnect panel for the right console.

Are you saying that the issue ONLY occurs with this one file and that you cannot reproduce the issue in a smaller dummy file?

It seems to work as intended on smaller files, but the larger assemblies (~500+ parts) shows the behavior shown above. As a workaround, I just pattern one set of hardware stacks at a time to each location, but it is painful to do for some of them.

I can tell by the screen image that this is a Direct Modeling design. I suspect that it is related to the Mirror Components problem described here: mirror-bug-with-design-history-turned-off-or-is-it-a-feature . If you can enable design history in your design, I believe that Component Pattern should work as expected. That bug (FUS-106309) has been fixed, and I believe is targeted for the next major update of Fusion. Thank you for reporting this.

It is. We imported from another CAD system, and hadn't enabled history yet until the cleanup from the transition was all done.
