sometimes, after my MacBook sleeps and then wakes, I can no longer orbit my model using option+two finger scroll

I can drag the cube in the top right but can't obit using the trackpad. The only solution is to reboot the application which is very frustrating as the application takes forever to start and isn't easily searchable on spotlight

I did discover this feature shortly after this post. And it works much better than before (although still not perfect)

however, I have still observed this behavior, possibly less often though

I keep Fusion360 in full screen in its own space on Mac and I believe that the issues perhaps stem from there. I also experience issues where the navigator (components / bodies / analysis, etc) will show on the wrong desktop and cause issues as well. My guess is that the input is not being captured properly and is why I am able to scroll around but not orbit

Assuming sketches are not 2D drawing in this context, no I did not.

I made my first drawing last night though. Also I edited my last message but not quickly enough so I will re-paste it here:

I keep Fusion360 in full screen in its own space on Mac and I believe that the issues perhaps stem from there.

thank you! The beta trackpad support is significantly better! But, I would still love to see an experience that feels fully native. If I recall correctly, RhinoCAD had one of the best trackpad implementations. I think it might be just a matter of frame rate that makes the experience feel off. That and it would be great if you could pan and zoom at the same time, like most other macOS applications. Having to stop panning to zoom and vice versa feels very dated

I have same issue: trackpad gestures for orbit ceases to function some hours after each restart — but restarting is a real pain when working under pressure / deadlines. It's only been happening for the last few weeks. I've been talking to support and still no fix. I have the native trackpad option on. Not really appreciating the "launch update and users will do the testing" mode anymore... just venting into the faceless void that passes for customer service. I'd be willing to pay good money for functioning software... no wait... I do...

I will point out that the bug that causes orbiting with the track pad to stop seems to be related to moving to the 2D drawing environment and back. It seems to work until you open or create a drawing.
