I am trying to figure out how to make a series of materials that would emulate G10 and Micarta.

I'm not sure where to start

I give you a brief overview of the process of adding new materials to be used in Fusion 360. You will need to gather Physical Properties of the materials so I would recommend sites like MatWeb or similar to find these.
