Recently an update, Oct. 30 2024 date update was requested, has basically destroyed Fusion 360. I have attempted, most all the steps noted in this an many other support post.

Attempting to run Fusion 360 results in a list of missing .dll files, not a single option for starting the Fusion Service Utility will even begin to run, even running the Fusion change from Apps & Features and selection Change/Modify crashes. It is missing .dll files as well.

Researching other options of uninstalling manually does not give me a good feeling about success, I have other Autodesk applications installed and some of the process steps look as if they may affect Inventor and Vault installation, since it is hacking around in and User Appdata Autodesk locations,

Looking for a clean way to remove Fusion 360 with out damage to other Autodesk applications. May need to go with another type of uninstaller utility...

Any suggestions would be handy to know.

Thanks in Advance

Mike B

Trying to figure out why Fusion 360 refuses to work more than once after the last update. Tried reviewing anti-virus and graphics settings, uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling countless times.

Decided to try the Service Utility, with these results:

The official instructions, with my results in BOLD:

Issue:How to launch the Fusion 360 Service Utility.

Solution:The Fusion 360 Service Utility is invoked:

Automatically when 2 consecutive launch failures are detected.

THIS DOES NOT WORK - I tried launching Fusion 360 12 times in a row, always receiving this message:

The Service Utility does NOT automatically start on 2 consecutive launch failures
On Windows OS:

Hold CTRL + SHIFT before launching Fusion 360, then launch Fusion 360 until the Service Utility shows up.

Holding CTRL + SHIFT and launching Fusion 360 results in the following error, no matter how many times it is launched:

Open the Service Utility from the programs list:

Open Settings from the Windows Start Menu.

Click Apps

Select Fusion 360 from the list.

Click Change.

The Fusion 360 Service Utility is working. I am on a Windows 10 Pro computer, Fusion 360 version 2.0.14113, and I executed it from the Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

Mr. Hackney, I am very pleased that the Service Utility works for you, on your system, with your obviously successful recent update. However it is of no help to me, on my system, with the very obviously failed latest update that has left Fusion 360 - and all of its utilities - useless.

Do you have any ideas that would help me eliminate the error messages I've been getting for the last 3 days?
