Feedback on my model

This is a beginning rough model of a 17' Shasta camper we just purchased.

I am roughing in all the cabinetry and components. When its all done Id like to have an extremely accurate representation of the physical camper.

I wanted to use a Matterport 3D scanner to map the inside and use the point cloud to realize the actual model, that was a dead end since Fusion doesn't yet have support.

So my work flow rolls back to the basics, tape measure, 6' level, lots of reference photos, and pages of dimensions.

Now I'm looking for some expert eyes to let me know if I have developed my model correctly to the design methodology Fusion uses before I go too much more in depth with the model.

Any tips for the layout?

Could I of used different tools to create simpler parts and assemblies?

Any helpful advice is appreciated.

Also I have noticed that Fusion is beginning to behave rather strangely as this model has been growing larger, this is the largest model in terms of components I've yet to build inside of Fusion.

This is starting to concern me as I've really only blocked out most parts, as I begin to create greater and greater detail in my components hows it going to behave then? will it even be usable?

Here are some of the weirdness that have been happening.

1. The light blue highlight shadow that is activated as you click on sketches and faces, doesn't disappear when I click off the elements, not every time, maybe one out of every 5 times. I have to save my place in the model, shut down fusion and restart for it to go away.

2. Orbiting around can be jittery.

3. Fusion uses 2.1GB memory at idle.

Sent you a PM. Didn't get far up the timeline, you can be more efficient with right tool for the job and attach a short demo for you to think about. (I replaced all the cabin Lofts with extrude, mirror and combine.)

Given that you run a relatively recent NVIDIA card in your system I thought I remind you to make sure to use the latest drivers as also advised in this "official" post.

As for any modeling advice, your in excellent hands with @davebYYPCU.

I am glad to see a relatively new user of Fusion 360 with a spiffy clean timeline without any yellow or red icons!
