Update failed (again)

The last several updates/hot patches have failed to install for this or that reason, forcing me to use the repair utility or to reinstall by hand. This most recent October release has also now failed to install. Can someone write up a bug and figure out why?

Despite Fusion telling me the update failed, I restarted and now About shows me at 2.0.14567. I'll probably reinstall by hand again as it doesn't seem like the installer knows what's there or not.

Hello @bentwookie ,

It turns out Fusion has been updated successfully to 2.0.14569 from the log. You can use it well.

However, there were indeed some tries with the error: ERROR :: The registry is locked at this moment. It might result in error message for updates. I don't know why the registy is locked but I suggest to do a manual clean up for the folder %localappdata%/\Autodesk\webdeploy first if you have another chance to reinstall it. This may help. We'll look into the issue too.
