The appropriate tool for this, aside from creating a second sketch profile to mimic an outline, appears to be Thin Extrude. When using the Thin Extrude tool I am able to get the result I am after in the preview, but upon clicking OK, the result changes and includes another face, ruining the effect.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>This only applies when 'Side 1' is selected. If 'Side 2' is selected, the preview and final result DO match, but the result is the opposite of what I am after (the cutout is filled in). Lines do not become available to select with this tool at any point.
