Hi @jannik.steiner,

The easiest way is to do this in Simulation's Simplify workspace.
1. In the Simulation workspace, press the Simplify command icon in the Ribbon
2. Click on a face of the body you want to simulate
3. Right-click to show the context menu, and choose "Remove all but selected"
4. Finish Simplify

This will automatically exclude all other bodies. It won't affect the design in the Design workspace, it will only affect the Simulation Model that is a copy of the design that is used in the Simulation workspace.

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

I have a question about f360 Simulations.

I want to do a static load analysis on a single component that was modeled within a bigger File.

When I go to the dropdown menu on the upper left Corner, I choose Simulation, it always wants to simulate the entire model. I cannot find a way to exclude all other parts than the one I want to simulate.

I have tried to first choose the desired component (by hitting the small dot to the right of it´s name), but that has not worked so far.

My current solution is to export the desired component as a Step file, and then import it back to fusion to conduct the study. Im not happy with this solution, since I have to redo the entire study process with exporting / importing etc. whenever I do a small change on the component...

Is there a better way to do this?

Thanks in advance!
