Hi yes it is when it is trying to do tool paths but it takes minutes not seconds it would be good if someone could take over my computer and just check it’s all running right

Are you referring to CAM Simulation?

This is not uncommon when toolpaths are complex and you have "In Process Stock" still being calculated. If that's not what you're experiencing, could you share some screenshots of what you're seeing? Or, even better: please share the file that is giving you this issue.

File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

We don't have that ability on the forum, but if you would share your file, we'd be able to replicate what you're seeing (provided the issue is with the Fusion file itself). If you can't share the file publicly, you could email me a link to the file. Right click on the file in the Data Panel and select "Share Link". Email me the link: seth dot madore at autodesk dot com

I understand, but we do have policies in place that safeguard our customers data privacy. I guess after that, some information as to:

What sort of toolpaths? 2D and simple 3D?
How many?

Are these model drive or sketch?

Are you working with a native Fusion file, or is this an imported sketch and/or mesh?

Simple 3 axis work, or complex 5 axis?

Okay, I've received your file, and here are my observations;

You want to wait until all of these are solid green checkmarks:

 That said, even when all solid green and I go into Simulation, there is a lag, which took me about 35 seconds. This is because Simulation needs to load in all the toolpaths and start calculating for collisions. Once the black bar goes away, Simulation is relatively smooth

Now, if you're going back and forth between toolpath options and you'd like to make things a bit quicker, you can turn off In Process Stock calculation with this toggle in the Utilities tab:

You mention "3 axis measuring machine", I assume you mean a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)? If so, I regret to inform you that we do not yet support CMM's (and any idea of doing so is a LONG ways off)
