Machine Builder: The values set for the X axis are invalid

I'm trying to build a custom 5 axis machine using the machine builder.

Everything appears to be working as expected in the machine builder interface:

but when I try to actually use it, in a different model, get the error "the values set for the X axis are invalid", as follows:

It's unclear which "values" the error is referring to, so I've tried changing all sorts of vaguely x-axis-related things to no avail. Similar machines from the library (e.g. the Pocket NC v2-10) seem to work, so I'm quite sure that I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.

Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I've exported and attached the machine file in case that is useful.

OK - I think I sussed it.

The changes in machine builder don't propagate to designs very quickly. It isn't sufficient to re-select the machine in the manufacturing space of the component you wish to manufacture, it seems to be necessary to edit the machine from the machine selection panel in the manufacture workspace of the component in question. This pulls up the warning that the machine is out of date.

(The original cause of the error was not specifying the axis limits correctly - using machine coordinates rather than visual ones - however after correcting the error, the change did not propagate to the machine available for selection in a component design.)

This may help someone else...
