How far away is your model from design's origin and where is the point you are orbiting around located? At times I get it to be on the corner of one of the origin planes and when that happens the model is catapulted on orbit...

There are plenty of alternative software solutions but none can save you from making strange mistakes like ending up with a sketched line a galaxy away from the origin. Can you share the file? Maybe someone can find a way to fix it.

You could attach the model you are having issues with and let the Forum users take a look. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
