Hi, I'm trying to send a sheet metal part with some holes and some slots for fabrication. I haven't encountered this problem with Fusion 360 before.

I'm trying to use Center Mark to illustrate slots the way they are illustrated in Figure 10-35 on page 208 of ASME Y14.5-2018 . The part is simple. Sheet metal part/flange. One sketch with points, onto which the feature Hole Tool was used to make clearance holes. Same sketch contains the slots which were generated using "Overall Slot" sketch tool. The extrude feature was used to create the slot hole. I've also tried putting the slot on a dedicated sketch for extrusion, after the hole features. Still nothing useful.

When I try to add "Center Mark" it adds it to the holes, but only registers the semicircles at the ends of the slots instead of the slot itself.

As much as I wish this were the answer, this slot mark does not comply with ASME Y14.5-2018, as referenced in my original question. I can only assume that this is an older style of slot marking and that the Fusion team has simply not updated this to the current (2019 ASME) industry standard.

Is this what you are looking for? If so, the center mark has to be created manually withing the Model Environment sketch.

How are you getting the sketch in the model to show up on the drawing? I created a sketch to add the cross marks, ensuring to set the line type to centerline, but I cannot get them to show up on the drawing, even turning the sketch viz on.

Take a look at the video. One thing I did not mention in the video, if you sketch lines are two short the centerline linetype will not show up.
