I am attempting to get something setup for post processing in CAM.

I have imported the SVG file and I cannot select all of the letters. It outlines the remaining "letters", but misses one for some reason. If I go ahead and extrude this, the "E" falls behind and it is missed. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

https://a360.co/3wMpcjl

The letter E has a gap in the outline, divide and conquer, but you have to temporarily break the background profile, for it to show itself, or

It may not planar with the sketch plane.

Window select those lines, right click Menu, and select Move to Sketch Plane, if that option is in the menu.

Might help.....

Sorry about the bad link file earlier. I thought I read through the "how to" correctly for that. I tried for a while to close off the letter, but it *appeared* to be closed.

Anyways, I started it over again. I brought it into Photopea's free online photoshop and reprocessed the same file. This appeared to fix the issue for me. When importing the SVG again, it just worked this time. I appreciate everyones eyes on this. I have uploaded the bad file here in the event that someone is able to quickly spot my noobie mistake.

Finished product for my friend!

My gawd I'll never use the "helix" plunge again. Or at least I will helix plunge faster instead. That took the processing time from ~30 mins to 90 mins

wow I zoomed, zoomed, ZOOMED, to no avail. I still couldn't find it after you posted. So I deleted all lines nearby and created a straight line across the top. It closed it off. You found the problem!

Is there an easy way to detect the non closed section? or is it in the details of the other commenter who said " but you have to temporarily break the background profile, for it to show itself,"

Thanks either way
