I am very new user to Fusion 360. When I use the extrude command, the part I've modeled does not revert to the home, or isometric view as it shows in videos i've seen. It was working a few days ago, but today when I was modeling it wouldn't change the view. Why doesn't it change for me?

First of all, your Preferences should have the "Auto look at sketch" checked. Then when you begin a new sketch the model will turn to face the sketch. When you finish the sketch, the model will normally revert back to isometric. This is not a gospel thing. Editing a sketch, after the fact, sometimes will not do the reverting and other times it will not also. That is why you have the Home icon beside the View Cube to take you back when needed.
