You are dreaming if you think Fusion 360 will handle all the Contact Sets you have created. You many be able to switch the to Tangent Relationships and get away with that but Fusion 360 is very weak when it comes to Contact Sets. I added a Slider Joint to the first piston travel which is a great way to limit its motion and suppress enough Contact Sets to make it run effectively. You should label the Driving Joint so you can find it quickly, I did, it is call Drive Me.

Hello! I am having trouble with this issue here. I have this engine assembly, where Im trying to transform the Rotational Motion into Linear motion. I made 3 joints between the crankshaft, the piston rod, and the piston cap, however, when I'm trying to Animate The joint relationship on the crankshafts rotation joint, the only joint that is doing something is the one between the crankshaft and the piston rod, the one on the piston rod and the piston cap is just static.
Video:

<video-js data-video-id="6319944032112" data-account="6057940548001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)

In order to help effectively, you need to attach your model. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Thanks a lot! Im pretty new to the joint and simulation side of Fusion, but Im really glad you helped out!

Edit: Jesus I had no Idea the contact sets were still there, I thought they disappear once you disable them

No, all I did was to Suppress a few. I make it a habit to suppress things before I remove them especially if it is someone else's model.
