Trouble editing countersink parameters

I need to enlarge the countersink diameter for a 4-40 flathead screw. I now know that the heads are are larger with a hex key drive.

That parameter is gray when "clearance" is selected. Elsewhere I saw that you should edit this in the change parameters area. I was able to do this once, but as I played around, I got an error when changing the angle, diameter, depth, etc.:

The above is after changing the angle from 82 to 81, and then back to 82 for a group of holes (Hole 4). It also happened on a single hole, Hole 1.

This is beyond messy; couldn't we just edit all the parts of the feature, when creating the feature?

If you edit the hole feature in the timeline and drag the depth it fixes the warning. Not sure if it changes the other parameters back when you do this.

I also notice on a couple of the larger holes there a chamfer where they don't go all the way through the part.

You can, you just need to switch back to an ordinary hole (not clearance) after the sizes are propulated.

That's a working work around for now, but it gets even messier if you go back to "clearance". My 4-40 changes to M2. And so on...

It should go on the list of things that need to just work the way you expect them to.
