topic Leader notes disappear in 2D drawings, but only on certain parts of geometry. in Fusion Support Forum

I have a part which I made a drawing for, without issue. I then updated the part by splitting a section off, moving it 1.3mm then moving the faces to close the gap and then joined it back together, saved the file, and went back to the drawing and allowed it to update.

Several dimensions lost their association to the geometry, which was expected. I was able to reassociate most of them, and re-create the rest.

However, there were two very strange things that happened and I can't seem to find a way around.

First there was one dimension that no matter what I do, including re-creating it by deleting the original and making a brand new dimension, refuses to stay associated.

Secondly there is a leader note that does something even more confusing. The connection point for this leader note was showing as disassociated, so I tried to re-associate it. This would not work, so I deleted it and tried to make a new one and this is where it gets weird. Whether I type into the text field, paste, or even leave it empty, when I click the Close button on the Text window, the whole thing just disappears. I get no Leader Note at all.

I've tried opening and closing the file and restarting Fusion, with no luck. If I open a previous version of the Drawing that uses a version of the file before I made the change, everything works normally..until I click to allow it to update to use the latest model geometry, then it starts doing the crazy stuff.

Clearly it doesn't like what I did to the geometry but I have no idea why or how to get this to start working normally again.

I have attached a clipped-out section from this drawing with the aforementioned leader note and dimension underlined in red.

Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Hi @msenkoE997D

I am sorry to hear that you are facing the same problem. However, when I tried to reproduce the issue with your data on Fusion build

Fusion 2.0.20981 x86_64 and on the Insider build, I couldn't reproduce this issue. Could you check on this build and confirm?

Yes, I am using the same build.

I found it happens when I am trying to point at arc. It works well when pointing at straight lines, corner and full circuit.
