No, you cannot delete Versions. You can however open the version you want to start anew with and Save As to get back to Version 1 if this will help you out.

Is there a way to delete a files version history? I have files that have version histories up to v290 and am getting "Components are out off date" for suppressed components that have to be from over a 100 versions ago that I can not find that version to unsuppress and fix them and those components have not been present in the files since then. This is costing MASSIVE time. This is not just one file, this is many files.

Thank you for the reply. The issue I am having is part clutter in the folders and past versions having suppressed parts that are no longer in the current version of the assembly but are causing component update errors in the current version.
