Creating Geometry Inside Cylinder

Hello,

I am trying to create geometry inside a hollow cylinder. The cylinder is like a ring, it doesn't have a bottom and I need to create several grooves and shapes on the inside faces. I have watched all the YouTube videos available and all of them explain how to add geometry outside the ring by using construction planes, the revolving option and embossing. I need it inside. How do I do that?

You did not specify any particular shape or size but the process is basically the same.

Hi,

please show on screenshots how the elements should look like.
Then you can give hints which tools come into question.

Hi,
Wow that was fast. Thank you. I think I know what I am doing wrong. My knitting machine cam shell broke and I want to print a replacement. Attached is the picture. I want to be able to create the triangle on the top and the slopes that guide the needles underneath that triangle. I hope I am making sense.

You need to supply some clearer pictures and more at different angles. This looks like an extrusion from the top lip but cannot really tell. If the Forum users can get the basic shape worked out, you can add the dimensions.
