Based on the terminology you used you likely have experience in solid modeling but don't have any experience with either surface modeling or T-spline/Form modeling.

I personally would use the Surface modeling tools, not T-Splines/Forms. However, if my assumptions above are correct, then this is far too advanced of a model for your current skill level.

Hi Guys!

Im currently working on a projekt where im gonna design a quite complex form. Last few years ive mostly worked with inventor so im quite new to fusion.

My question is how you guys would go on modelling the form ive attached. The form is a clay model that i have scanned and made into a mesh for referens. Its the "front part" that i wanna model. The 3 more smooth surfaces you see.

Should i use the form tool, surface modelling with t-splines or some other way?

Thankfull for you insights

Regards/ Johan

Thanx for the reply.

Im currently trying surface modelleling. I have worked quite a lot in Rhino 3d and made quite advanced models. But it was many years ago. But i think i will be able to come up to speed with it!

In that case you should be able to fork fine with the surface modeling tools in Fusion 360.

I would first try to orient the scan closer to the origin, however. Otherwise viewport navigation will be ... frustrating.
