Update Template for Thrid Angle Projection

Hi, I could never find the toggle to switch from first to third angle projection in Fusion 360, until recently. I have made a drawing template, spent quite a lot of time on it, and have used it hundreds of times, with workaround for the third angle projection issue, Now that I have found the toggle for third angle projection, I want to change my template but it appears I have to start a whole new template form scratch...

can anyone tell me how to just change my template to always use third angle projection...

Hi @jason.crossleyZKMMR

The way drawings are set up, the projection angle is set and cannot be changed. So it’s best to set up your template correctly.

I know this is a bit of a pain, so I will take this away as a feature request.

Thanks, I ended up doing a work around which wasn't ideal, it worked, but it was way harder than it needed to be. and took way too much of my time. Sometimes you need one, sometimes the other, so Now I have two templates, and I have to decide before I start the drawing which method will work the best for that particular drawing. sometimes, you just need to start on the drawing and then decide, maybe it will be better drawn a certain way. especially when you want to add an isometric view for clarity. if you're in first angle, it's easy, but then you don't get the view you want without first projecting it then moving it underneath, or above. back in the Autocad days, you just drew it how it looked the best, then inserted the relevant block in the title bar for which projection you used.

Everything with Fusion is way harder that is needs to be. WHY????
I will call this: Reason 17,564 of why I absolutely HATE fusion 360.

How friggin hard is it to have a toggle on each drawing to go from first to third angle projection, or even a drop down with right-click menu? I'm not a software engineer, but surely, it can't be that hard.
