If you edit the sketch, and then choose Fit View, you will see the wayward dimension. Delete it and the sketch will behave better. As noted earlier, this model probably would be easier and more efficiently done without 3D sketches.

While editing a 3D sketch I was rotating around in 3D view mode.

I then selected a straight on view.

I observed some overlapping dimension numerals.

I then clicked on the group and attempted to drag out one for separation.

It crashed.

When I go back in, it looks like this. When I try to edit it crashes.

Feel free to enter my files. Hopefully there is a recovery possible.

Here is the file.

It contains a component which was imported from an earlier Fusion session.

So there are two sketch markers on the navigation sidebar.

So it likely wasn't a crash. But moving a dimension not appropriate to the current orthographic view caused the dimension to fly out of the neighborhood. The screen went white and I didn't know where I was. By repeatedly clicking the home button I've been able to see the subject dimensions and rein them in.

I can avoid this issue going forward.

I've wondered why I couldn't manage to get the sketch object locked down. Now I understand the dimensions all must be on the plane. I stand corrected!
