This often happens when I'm zoomed in close, but not always. And only "close" relative to the whole project (meaning if there are a bunch of parts spread out, I barely have to get close to the detail of one for this to start happening.

I've tried updating the SpaceMouse drivers, I've tried going into Fusion settings and switching the SpaceMouse settings to "legacy," nothing changes. (This is on a PC running WX 22H2, everything is up to date as of at least last month)

Many updates past, we fixed a problem like this and the customers complaining about it said it was fixed, so I'm a little curious what might be happening for you.

Using windows, with supported 3Dconnexion devices, and the newest drivers (not legacy) should be all that is required to avoid this.

What model of space mouse compact do you own, and when was it made (if that is shown anywhere). This could be important because some unsupported 3Dconnexion devices are still in operation and are not supported by 3Dconnexion any longer. I thought that was limited to space pilot models, but I can ask about yours just to be sure.

I'd love to help, but I'm still confused. Using the legacy drivers is not going to help, have you found any difference between the legacy/latest drivers? I'm just curious why you switched to legacy.

Does this happen with simple models, like a single cube on the screen?

Can you provide a video?

I ask these questions because the vast majority of spacemouse users do not experience "flipping". As I mentioned, we have made improvements with this issue, but there may be exceptions. I'm starting to think the model geometry is unique, and so is your experience, so those two things are probably related.

It happens on all my designs now, usually when zoomed in. I am not using
legacy drivers, I only switched them on temporarily to see if it would fix
it (it didn’t). I can post a video later, I’ll make sure to record it the
next time it starts happening. Because when it happens, it keeps happening
until I start moving the camera with shift+middle mouse button.
