Hi

The dwg / dxf drawing exported from Fusion are now not 2D, if you click any line it is showing Z position as well which is not good . Drawing should be only in XY plane not in Z plane.

Its not good if you want to modify dwg/dxf in Autocad afterwards

Please fix the issue

If you set the DWG format to simplified you get a simple 2d drawing.

Pretty sure this has always worked this way for DWG, don't know about DXF. @Phil.E Do you know if anything has changed for DXF exports from the drawing workspace?

Hey,

Sorry you're facing this issue. I've reported it to the team.
You should be able to turn it into a 2D DXF using the following workflow.
https://somup.com/cTnXoyKCTI

Thanks
