Dimention box missing

I cannot dimention any sketch - i have no input box and get the error that it is over constrained . I have tried uninstall/reinstall to no effect. this even happens when i create a circle i cannot dimention anything please help.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

And also screenshot of what you see.

What language pack are you using?

Im really quite upset i cannot dimention even the simplest of shapes . the sketch over constrained error appears i have posted screenshots no matter what i try it continues any help would be greatly appreciated tha

You forgot to Attach your file here for diagnosis?

Where is your first sketch?

I don’t see anything in your second sketch?

How long have you used Fusion? Did it used to work for you and now this is a new problem, or did it never work for you?

Hi Joseph,

Are these two horizontal lines projected from the body underneath the sketch? If yes, the sketch lines cannot be moved, since they are associative to the edges.

No this is a simple box created in a brand new sketch there is nothing else on the new tab just the box i i have clicked and dragged to that size but cannot dimention to the proper size because there is no input box and it also says the sketch is over constrained.

To me it looks like you have sketched on the face of an extrusion and you have auto project enabled, then picked 2 corners of the projected face. If this is what you've done the sketch is fully constrained so you will not get an option to add a dimension, you'll just get the over constrained warning. Try drawing a rectangle somewhere away from any other geometry and try dimensioning.

You probably have one or both of these options enabled in your preferences so clicking on edges or corners of a body with constrain your sketch to that point. You might want to disable these setting and just project what you need by pressing P and picking what you need.
