I have created a very simple rectangular body that I used construction planes to then split it along three sides.

When I navigate backwards and forwards through my timeline the main body will not reappear even though its present right after the sketch that created it?

I know its early in the morning but I don't see anything I'm doing wrong or missing?

You are not doing anything wrong, the application does not trigger a Compute All "when it should". If you press Ctrl (Command) + B on the keyboard you ask for a manual Compute All and it will reappear. The Compute All command is on the Utilities menu also.
