Joining a rotated face profile

I am trying to join 2 faces which have the same profile together. One is offset by 5mm and rotated by 25°
Here's an image

I have created the top portion simply by extruding a 1mm distance at a 5mm offset, then rotated the body.

I have attempted to use the loft tool, however it just gives me errors

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Loft or Sweep with Twist, then Shell. Then Sweep then model internal “key way”.

Do you have an image of something similar that already exists in the real world?
I am having difficulty envisioning resulting geometry that would be aesthetically pleasing.

You will have to Loft twice. Loft will not do donut (concentric) or any other hollow profiles,

First is complete solid block with only the outline. (Select Both regions of the sketch?)

The second Loft will be the internal regions, as a Loft Cut.

Hi,

1. The Loft tool cannot be used to join hollow sections.
First the outer profiles are joined with Loft and then the inner profiles are joined with the "CUT" option.
2. this arrangement leads to extreme overlapping, if the process is successful at all.

You have two named bodies.

Is your Design Intent to merge these two bodies with the Loft, or is it to create a 3rd body?

Do you have an image of something similar that already exists in the real world?
I am having difficulty envisioning resulting geometry that would be aesthetically pleasing.

Make sure to examine the edits that I added to previous response.

Originally I mistakenly used 30° rather than 25° and did not have the 1mm straight extrusion.
