sketch dimension input problem

Example flow to reproduce the problem.

I want to draw a 90.11 x 80.11 rectangle

1. zoom in the grid to 0.1

2. click the rectangle and click the first point of the rectangle, the dimension input box is shown.

3. When I type 9 in the entry box, the box disappears. I have to type the rest of 90.11 without the box.

This sounds like a graphic card issue. You can try and change your Graphic Driver setting in your Preferences and see if it helps. Also, make sure your Graphic Card Drivers are up to date.

What happens if you avoid Step 1

and

what happens if you sketch the Rectangle without dimensions, then d on the keyboard and dimension the rectangle after creating?

If the grid is greater than 0.1, there is no such problem.
The reason for 0.1 is to place the first point of the rectangle. I need the precision.

2. turning off the grid dramatically simplifies sketching

I turned the grid off back in 1987 of the last century.

(OK, actually it is visible, but I don't use it. I use the BORN Technique. The Origin is the single source of truth. Can't be deleted and it doesn't move. It is what it is - the Origin.)

Hi,

1. I create it the element without dimensioning and then dimension it.
2. while entering the dimension you can change the zoom with the scroll wheel and move the view by pressing the scroll wheel.

I think the box is placed at the center of the edge of the rectangle, which is out of the screen.

I think any case will do, when the grid is zoomed to 0.1 or 0.05.

Why fool with grid?

Simply Attach your file *.f3d here.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
