Arrange feature : how it works?

Hi,

I would like to rotate parts but nothing happens as it is written in the help. When I click on the arrow and define an edge to put in x, nothing happens. When I select a component and use the cursor with the angle selection, nothing happens. Can someone tell me why?

Hi, indeed my version on mac os seems to act totally differently.

Already impossible for me to place the elements by unchecking "copy" if they are constrained, or link to their parent.

I was forced to make a copy of my base file, and then delete all the positioning constraints to be able to place the parts in the envelopes, otherwise a message appeared indicating that it was not possible to solve the operation.

To be able to rotate the parts as I wanted, I had to uncheck "global rotation"

Where is it possible to find a detailed glossary of the different pictograms of this window?

As soon as I click on a component in the workspace, the cube icon changes and becomes the cube with a blue face, why?

Yes, there are intentional limitations if you have "Create Copies" unchecked and you have XREF or Ground to Parent enabled.

And yes, I can reproduce this "issue" with your file. I'm not sure if it's intentional, a limitation, or a bug. I'll poke at it some more when my day frees up a bit and log a ticket if needed.

Thank you, I have already read all this documentation but not everything is explained. As often this documentation details a procedure to follow but not the different situations that one can be confronted with.
