How to edit hatch pattern for multiple bodies in Section View

Why is there no way to edit hatch preferences for the entire document?

Or per material settings?

Or maybe there is, but it's well hidden?

It appears that the only way to edit hatch patterns is by double clicking a single instance of the pattern itself.

But if the scale of the hatch pattern is so big that it doesn't even show up in a given body, there is nothing to click on, and the hatch is un-editable..?

Why is it impossible to shift-select multiple hatches and edit them together? Or at least copy a hatch pattern and apply it to other bodies?

I had the same problem. Creating a drawing of a 2x4stud platform build. Working on the section view and adding crosshatching to all of the studs. Having to edit each stud's cross hatching individually.

Please add a feature to be able to assign/edit cross hatching at the material level or for the entire section.

My Work around for the "not being able to click on a hatch because the scale of the hatch doesn't display inside the small part issue" was to find the parent view on the drawing, change the view scale to something ridiculous. The drawing blew up way past the edges of the paper. Then I found the small part i was trying to hatch, and was able to see the hatch inside of it to double click it. Applied my hatch scale factor to the hatch. Then I went back to the parent view and change the scale of the view back to the original.

At least give us the ability to select multiple items to apply the same hatch specification to in a single operation.
