I only just took the June update and straight away found the update to allow resizing the dialogs is not good. In the past, if a dialog was docked to the right side of the screen it would resize (hight) if there were lots of vertical options. This still sort of works but as soon as you manually resize a dialog, even for just the width it no longer auto resizes.

Like here I now have a scrollbar, in the past I could make the dialog wider and still have it auto resize for height.

So OK I can resize the height But now I'm stuck with a tall dialog! So again an improvement that's made things worse! Like the last time there were "improvements" to the UI and you broke across sessions layout customisation.😞😞

I've been having trouble with dialog sizes in the latest update as well (since this morning). But mine seems to be related to the latest updates in High DPI Scaling. Yay.

@HughesTooling, in testing, it seems like this might be affecting specific commands in the Manufacturing workspace. Can you please confirm specific commands to be the issue (and which), or is it is affecting all commands across all workspaces?

Generally, each command gets its own user-defined height remembered for the session - it is not shared with other command dialogs of the same style; my guess is that some commands may have more in common under the hood than they let on, and are inadvertently sharing a height value.

@lance.carocci In the past I always docked the active dialog to the right edge of the screen so it would resize. What I've found with the update is I no longer need to do this, actually if you do it breaks the auto resize! Leaving the dialogs in there default place is fine and I can work with that. I did notice more problems in the manufacture workspace because some dialogs seemed to affect others but some were independent.

So the only real problem is in the manufacture workspace, the dialogs are 20%-30% too narrow and resizing breaks the auto resizing and once broken you have to close fusion to get working again.

Here's an example. All the boxes down the right are too narrow. Also note the gap between the right edge of the dialog and the boxes is bigger the the gap on the left side of the dialog and the text.

This problem is caused by the line of text at the bottom that's too wide. The boxes do not start to expand until the full text is showing.

The same tab for a different operation works fine when there's less text.

Thanks Mark

@lance.carocci Everything works pretty well as long as you leave the dialogs docked in the default place. One problem is as soon as you undock then redock a dialog it stops resizing. Is there any way apart from close and reopen Fusion to get a redocked dialog to auto resize again?

Here's an example where I undocked a machining op, after redocking it stuck at this size.
