Accurately tapered spacer

I am designing a 65mm diameter spacer with a 16mm bore and a thickness of 5mm on one side tapering to 4.8mm on the other. It was suggested I try to split the body along a line but how can I do this accurately or is there a better way ??? Can I plot distances from the line to the edge of the object ??? The simpler the answer the better please for, as you can probably tell, I am still a novice user. I'd really appreciate any advice.

You did not specify the direction of the thickness taper, thicker outside to inside or the reverse?

You did not respond to my question so I just create a washer with the thickness taper with the taper from the outside to inside. There are a number of possibilities to your original question. I have mentioned one, but another is splitting the thickness taper evenly across the thickness to have equal tapers on top and bottom. I have included my model but if you clarify your answer, you can get the results you desire.

Assuming you want a wedge, rather than a dish, see attached example. I made the thinner side 2.8mm instead of 4.8mm to make it easier to see. You can change the dimension to anything you want by editing the second sketch.

Sorry I didn't explain myself properly but what I'm after is a uniform taper from one edge of the spacer to the other.

So, if you look at it from above it would be a wedge shape.

I've added an attachment in which the taper is exaggerated but should what I'm after.

So far, I've been able to use line and drag it to an angle but the angle I need to make the taper accurate is 0.17 degrees and when I enter that it is rounded to 0.2 degrees.

If it's possible, I'd prefer to be able to specify the thickness of each edge.

To edit the overall thickness, edit the first extrude operation (by double clicking on it in the timeline at the bottom of the screen). To edit the taper, edit the second sketch (ditto) and change the dimension, then Finish Sketch.

I am able to adjust the overall thickness as you explained but I'm just unsure what you mean by the second sketch ???
