Hello everyone

The Pattern command can also be used to edit Features.

The Copy/Paste command cannot be used to edit Features, only Surfaces.

With the Copy/Paste command, it would be very helpful if Features could also be edited.

I'm not sure what you mean by "The Pattern command can also be used to edit Features". You cannot edit features using Pattern. You can replicate the geometry produced by those features, but you cannot edit the selected features. Can you explain what you mean by this?

You can move the geometry produced by a feature (in simple cases, at least) using Move, selecting Faces as the object type (see video). But, you cannot duplicate geometry using Move. You can use a linear pattern to produce a second copy of the geometry, then use Move to position where you want.

Thank you very much for your answer, you are right, I had some mistakes in my questions, new attempt to formulate the questions correctly.

The Move/Copy command cannot be used to move Features, it can only move Faces.

With the Move/Copy command, it would be very helpful if Features could also be moved.

If you could move features with the Move/Copy command, we would only have to click on 1 face, but you had to click on 3 faces in your example and I had to click on 11 faces in my example.

Can you share a design where you eel this is useful?

What I would like to see is "real" design, not a simplified example.

This question is justified, I would also ask it.

Since I'm missing an important basic function in Fusion to solve the task with a dynamic modeling technique, I've been looking for alternatives, and that's one of 3 alternatives. However, since it is not possible to select the geometry of a feature with one click in the Move/Copy command, it is omitted as a variant.

I had planned to write something more elaborate, but it pretty much boils down to this.

I can also see the usefulness of the proposed functionality, but neither is it basic nor is it important.

Yes, but you'll first have to change the selection filter to "Faces":

And then use the red-circled option so the move operation is parametric.
