Thank you for your response. I found out that my text problems were caused
by my inability to create a 3D model. I am using Fusion 360 to program
a CNC plasma cutter. When I create a
2D model and try to extrude it the extrude is only partial, solid on only 1
side and wire frame on the
other 5 sides. I have used this program for a couple of years with no
problem and now this. I uninstalled and reinstalled F360 and it does the
same thing. Got any ideas?

Regards,
Elmer

.

Sketch constraints and sketch dimensions both work on the text box which you can use for accurate positioning. You can also left mouse click drag the center green point, before placing constraints and dimensions on the box.

Edit: added graphic

Without a screen capture to guide my response, I will guess. This sounds like a graphics problem. Fusion 360, in recent updates, has changed how some graphic cards function. I would try two things. One is to make sure your graphics card is using the latest drivers. Two, I would try changing the Graphic Driver settings in your Preferences one at a time. You will have to restart Fusion 360 each time you change them so be sure and save your work.

Here is the way to find your Graphics Diagnostic panel.
