hi guys, how to shorten an object size after design and how to increase the tube size inside an object after designing it. If possible to make a vdieo, it would be so helpful and appreciated thanks

"I want to shorten the object without using the edit feature please"

Why? This is, in fact, the entire reason why parametric CAD design exists - so you can easily modify your design.

However, if you really want to do this, use Offset Faces. You don't say which end you want to shorten, so I picked the smaller end. You can use this on either end, though.:

<video-js data-video-id="6338275303112" data-account="6057940548001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)

Some interesting things here.

3 surface bodies from one extrude. (3 circles)

Changing diameter without edit sketch. Use Press Pull, (Yuk)

Might help...

Again, this is what parametric design is made for. I'm sure that you could modify your design to be whatever length you want, so I don't really understand why you would not want to do that. However, if you do want to do this in a "Direct Modeling" way, here is one way:

<video-js data-video-id="6338276469112" data-account="6057940548001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)
