Hi,

1. I have found that in Fusion OTF fonts work better than their TTF variants.
Nevertheless, there are also some where the TTF variant is preferable.
2. if a font does not appear in the Fusion selection menu, you can be sure that it would not work either.
3. basically, fonts are created for graphics applications and not for simple extrusions, let alone those with tapering.

4. Create you text in a vector graphics application (AI, Inkscape...) and import it as SVG into Fusion.

I have installed a font called UNIWARS from Adobe on my MacBook. It has font variants (Bold, Italic, Underlined) that can be selected and rendered in the following apps on the Mac - Word, Outlook.

It was originally installed from a ".otf" file. After reading an Autodesk support thread, I uninstalled the font in Font Book, copied the OTF file to a TTF file, and reinstalled from the TTF file.

No change:

- Italic works in MS Word and Outline

- Italic is an available option in the Fusion360 dialog box, but clicking it has no effect (neither does Bold)

We use the italic font variant for our word mark on a 3D printed product.

What am I missing?

Thanks!
