Hi, I wonder if is possible chamfer of top edges if it's object with complicated structures.

In my example I already have applied chamfer but that's just 1/3 from desired state, for example:

.

It would be kind if enybody share some advice what I do wrong or if I use wrong tool to make sharp top edges of object.

Txh

Good day @ladislav_chvastas,

From what I can see you have at least one edge giving you issues, it seems to be calculating incorrectly.

I tried doing a sweep as a workaround but Fusion 360 crashed.
Might be worth doing the Chamfers/Sweeps individually and troubleshooting as you go along.

About edges, maybe you can tell me if I use right approach.

On start I add canvas like template.
Then I make outline of template with tool "Fit Point Spline'.
On end I do 2x offset for make final object.

Good day @ladislav_chvastas,

I agree with your steps.

I have found that the splines tend to cause intersections that Fusion 360 sometimes struggles with.

For your Chamfers, I'd start by doing the bulk with the Chamfer command then troubleshoot the edges that couldn't be calculated one by one.
Consider options like sweep (cut) or sweep (new body) then remove the new body with the Combine tool.

Hope this helps.

I tried do sweep (cut) according to video from jhackney1972 in 4th message https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-design-validate/refining-chamfer-on-waving-edges/m-p/10058849#M239502.

Like you can see on screen sweep will crash (Error: The sweep would not create a valid result.
Try adjusting the values or changing the input geometry.) on "straight" path not somewhere in corner where it can be more expected.

Can you tell me why this happend or how it can be done to whole object without this errors ?
