new drawing from design

I right click on a component from browser, then select new drawing from design. select the object then fill in the fields. however when i click on ok, the interface changes to the drawing one then before my drawing loads, the interface disappears and i amm back in the 3d modelling space. I have already uninstalled an reinstalled fusion 360, still doing the same. Any suggestions please.

Sounds like the drawings workspace is not launching. In most cases, this is related to graphics.

Please can you share a DXDIAG with me, so that I can take a look at your graphics setup.

Spot on Clint many thanks. Even though windows update told me everything was updated. I used a third party driver program that showed my graphics driver was not in fact the latest version. After installation all works fine. Many thanks
