My apologies, in fact, the finish sketch was transformed to a solid body. I made a backing plate for a battery, a spacer. It was a simple affair, 145 mm rectangle extruded with a hole at the top to fix it to the bulkhead. my idea was to 3-D print it. I've gone through the process many times having sent it to the cloud for translation to an STL file. I then took the file put it into simplified 3-D to prepare to print, but then found I couldn't transfer the file to an SD. This, I would normally do to take to the printer that in my garage. Suspecting simplify 3-D was the problem. I then tried to transfer the file that was created by fusion to the ST card and found I had the same problem with the error message Suspecting simplify 3-D was the problem. I then tried to transfer the file that was created by fusion directly to the ST card and found I had the same problem with the error message saying the code had additional Read write information and could not be transferred error -36 code had additional Read write information and could not be transferred. I tried a different SD card, I reinstalled Simplify3D

Having completed a sketch saving it and then sending it to fusion 360 for translation on the cloud service to an STL file. The file is failing to complete all saying completed, but there's nothing there. And when it has seem to work, I'm unable to transfer the file to an SD card if I use Simplify3D to prepare the file for printing, when transferring that to the SD card to take to the printer, it says the Gcode has additional scripts cannot read alright failed to transferI don't seem to be able to identify the origin of the problem, whether it's an issue with fusion and the translation to an STL file. I've tried replacing the SD cards and I've reinstalled Simplify3D and it's running on the latest version. Any ideas anybody?

can you provide a bit more information? Sketches are just wireframe geometries (curves, lines, points). Wireframe objects cannot be converted to STL. STL conversion requires a solid body. Perhaps some images and an example model could help us answer.

Hello, I have attached the translated file that I cannot move to the SD card. This is the final it was returned to me from the fusion 360 cloud, not the file that was created by Simplify3D. This has the same problem. I'll attach a screenshot of what happens when I try to drag and drop or transfer the file to the ST card. This is the error message I get. My son who is at university has the educational program on this computer and his computer. I only tinker about on the fusion, so I deleted the version on this computer and installed the free trial version to see if it would make a difference, but it's doing the same thing. I was informed by one of your colleagues in Support that I can change to the hobbyist personal use version in a few days time perhaps that will fix things. Thanks for all your help. Hopefully have an answer.

Hello sir, thank you for your help. I tried what you suggested but I had the same error problem. I'm going to go and buy another SD card in case that could be an issue although I've tried two of them and have the same problem with both cards
