Hey there,

As the title suggests, I'd like to report a bug that's been affecting me since I started using Fusion 360 years ago but never reported because I just assumed it would've been fixed by now, but I was on a war path today and figured it's time to strike and report this PITA.

Without fail, at least several times a day, when exporting a design into the drawing window, it will randomly crash when adding text to the document, most notably when editing the text format, e.g., size, colour, etc.

I know this isn't just "oh, it's your computer's hardware; it must be broken," as this has been happening for years across a total of 5 different computers, so if someone mentions that, my male pattern baldness is about to increase rapidly as I will tear my hair out and throw it at my monitor.

I'd assume the crash happens due to a memory leak or something along those lines, such as when I open my task manager to end the process (which is the only way I can actually close or interact with the software once this happens). I've noticed that the amount of memory being used by the software will gradually climb over time, one time reaching 38GB of RAM usage before I got bored of watching the number grow.

Please, almighty programmers, relieve me from this recurring nightmare and address this issue. Thank you.

If you do can you send me a Report ID so that I can find your reports at the backend. Direct messaging me your email ID can also be used to look for the crash error reports you submitted.

This occurs on every drawing that I produce with Fusion so I have gotten into the habit of saving after every change made to the drawing. Here is an older drawing that I am able to share : https://a360.co/3NjoW3R

@alsoHarrison The next time you crash, can you please do this following the crash?

1. Go to add/remove program
2. Select Autodesk Fusion - MODIFY

This will launch the service utility
3. Gather system info
4. This will generate 2 zip files

Please attach BOTH in here. Crash and quick exit like this is ofter a graphics card symptom. I would look at graphics driver update (just not what the system says but going into the actual graphics vendor site and may be re installing the driver). That could be a start to see what is happening. The log files that I have called out above would generally help as well.

This will then capture the right events during the crash.

With what you have attached if you did not capture this after a crash, it may not contain all the things needed to understand what could be happening.
