Unable to Open a file "Error: New design cannot be created from a local file containing external reference"

Hello,

I had a file I worked on, and printed. Then when I went back to edit the file I was unable to find it. I followed to threads, and I THINK, I found the correct file deep in my fusion folder. But when I try to open it, it says "Error: New design cannot be created from a local file containing external references"

Any ideas on how to fix this? I saw something about a debug mode, and removing the external reference. But not sure how to go about that.

Any help is appreciated.

I solved this by uploading the document to Fusion, instead of trying to open it directly, and that did the job!
