Restore inactive hub?

I am about to lose my mind over all my hard work possibly being gone forever, but I will try to explain calmly.

I was just logging into my robotics company's Fusion account to check on things, and was met by a message about having to create a new hub, so I proceeded with doing that, only to get into Fusion with absolutely all of my files completely missing, and no other selectable hub they could be in, other than this new one they had me make.

I went to check my e-mail account next, which is one I basically never use for anything other than signing into Fusion, so was expecting no e-mails there in need of checking. But there were e-mails from Autodesk titled "Inactivity reminder" that basically said "Due to extended inactivity, the Fusion hub "Procyon Robotics" will no longer be accessible starting on 7 April 2026."

And here I had absolutely no idea there was such a system in Fusion that hubs would disappear through inactivity. I thought my files were my files as soon as I drew them up and saved them in Fusion, but they weren't even in my own computer and are now completely missing because I didn't check on them soon enough or bought a subscription or whatever. I thought I could just log back in whenever and load them up again like with ANY other sensible software!

Now I feel totally crushed over my future dreams and life's work being ripped away from me over some inactivity limit I was not even aware of when drawing up all my many advanced robotic parts, so I am really hoping to all higher beings that it is still somehow possible to restore all my missing files? Would they simply reappear if I just buy a new subscription? I started my projects with a startup subscription that has since expired, but I was just waiting to buy one again whenever the time was right to work on my robotics projects again. I guess Autodesk didn't have the time to wait for that then since my things were set as inactive and removed before I even got to subscribe to work on them again.

@infoAHMVM An inactivity for over a year to your account is the result of what you are seeing. There should have been emails to your registered Fusion account that notifications about this was sent.

1. Please send an email to fusion.contentstorage@autodesk.com
2. Reference this thread and also provide them with your email ID used for Fusion

Yes, I have been inactive for a long time, and I found those e-mails after noticing my files were missing, because I had absolutely no reason to think a software would just delete all my files if I didn't interact with them often enough. I just need to know if I can get the files back somehow? I already e-mailed to that address about it all, but have not heard from them.

Maybe 5-6 hours ago, so sorry if I seem impatient about it, but feeling rather crushed over losing my life's work.

They should get back to you shortly and they should be able to restore the hub.

Hello there.

I am happy to say that I got all my old files back with the help from the customer support e-mail that I explained my issue to,

and I have been so relieved and busy sorting through everything that I forgot to post an update here. 😅

Thanks to everyone who helped with this. Now I'm just looking through all the subscription options,

and I'll be back on track with designing my first little robot kit, and a much larger modular personal robot.
