Hello,

When I closed Fusion 360, a window popped up saying “Cannot close until pending tasks are completed,” and it said there were 7 tasks left to save. So I waited for about an hour for it to load, and there were still 7 tasks left to save. When I clicked on the “Suspend tasks” button, nothing happened, and I had no choice but to force Fusion 360 to shut down by turning off my PC. When I returned to my project, none of the parts in my assembly appeared in my work area, and the names of the assembly components appeared in red in the browser. I tried opening older versions of my assembly, but that didn't change anything. You can also see that on the chain icon at the top center of my screenshot below, there is a small yellow dot indicating that the component is obsolete. So I'm stuck at this point and have no idea what to do to fix this problem.

I would be very grateful for some help.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Quentin_meyer967ET ,

Can you see if clearing the cache helps.

Find location:

Windows: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\[USER_ID]\W.login.

macOS: Macintosh HD > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 > *** > W.Login.

Check if the Q folder is empty. If it is empty that means that all files were successfully saved in the cloud. If the Q folder contains some files please wait until they will be successfully saved in the cloud.

Find a folder named 'F'. This is the local cache folder.

Make a backup of this folder in the other location.

Delete the F folder.

Restart Fusion and a new F folder will appear, and it will be empty.

Hi @dsouzasujay,

Thank you so much for your help and for taking the time to try to solve my problem. But before you gave me your second reply, I managed to fix the problem and recover my project. The problem was that some components had simply been deleted from my assembly, so I had to go to my Fusion 360 account web page and restore the deleted components from the trash, and everything was back in order. It still took me a while to solve. Thank you so much for giving me your time and solutions to solve this problem.

All the best to you !

Goodbye 👋.
